黑人的命也是命廣場（英語：Black Lives Matter Plaza）（正式名稱為西北區黑人的命也是命廣場）是華盛頓特區市區16街其中的兩個街道長的人行道段。[1][2]該廣場於2020年6月5日哥倫比亞特區公共工程部在地面上以35英尺（11公尺）的黃色大寫字母繪詞「黑人的命也是命」，以及華盛頓特區的區旗，隨後被哥倫比亞特區市長穆里爾·鮑澤改成現名，作為喬治·弗洛伊德之死抗議活動的一部分。[3][4][5]

2020年6月5日，在喬治·弗洛伊德抗議期間，哥倫比亞特區公共工程部在總統公園的一部分白宮附近，拉法耶特廣場北面的16街上，在地面上以35-英尺（11-公尺）的黃色大寫字母繪詞「黑人的命也是命」，以及華盛頓特區的區旗[6][7][8]同一天，哥倫比亞特區市長穆里爾·鮑澤宣布，這條白宮附件的街道已正式更名為黑人的命也是命廣場，並樹立路牌。[9][10][11]宣布重命名時，她說：「布雷娜·泰勒，在你生日那天，讓我們堅定地站起來。」[12]她在新聞發布會上解釋說：「有些人渴望聽到和看到自己的人性。我們有機會在我們城市的一條非常重要的街道上大聲疾呼地傳達了這一信息。」[13] 2020年10月，特區市議會投票決定永久保留該名稱。[14]

該廣場是西北區16街的兩個街區長的路段，向北與K街交叉，中間穿過I街，並向南與H街交叉；廣場位於西北區下城南部的總統公園的北側。[19][20][21][22]儘管緊急車輛可以在左側進入，但車輛的進入受到街道右側的路障的阻擋。交通在K街和I街上不受影響。

公園警察[編輯]
