约翰·阿尔弗雷德·廷尼斯伍德（英语：John Alfred Tinniswood，1912年8月26日—）是英国超级人瑞，继胡安·比森特·佩雷斯·莫拉于2024年4月2日逝世后成为获吉尼斯世界纪录认证的在世最年长男性。[2][3][a]

生平[编辑]

约翰·廷尼斯伍德于1912年8月26日生于利物浦。[6][3]在第二次世界大战期间，他因视力问题而没有上战场，而是在皇家军队财务机构（英语：Royal Army Pay Corps）担任会计师及查账员。[7]他同时亦有参与如寻找被困的士兵及安排粮食供应的军队后勤工作，由此他亦被认为是在世最年长的二战老兵。[7][8]他于二战期间一场舞会中认识布洛德文·罗伯茨（Blodwen Roberts），二人于1942年结婚，独生女苏珊（Susan）于翌年出生[3][9][10]。二战结束后，他于皇家邮政、壳牌、BP任职会计师，直至于1972年退休。[3][7][6]其妻布洛德文于1986年因肺癌离世。[9][2][11]

他其后迁往位于绍斯波特看护中心。[10]2022年8月26日，他庆祝110岁生日，成为超级人瑞。当天有乐队在看护中心为他表演，而作为利物浦足球俱乐部粉丝的他亦收到球会送给他的时钟，以向他致敬。[12]被问到有何“长寿秘诀”时，他在111岁生日前夕回答“凡事适可而止”，在成为最年长男性后却认为“只是单纯运气好”。[13][8]

  • 2020年9月25日，生于1911年11月25日的哈里·弗朗斯曼（Harry Fransman）去世，约翰·廷尼斯伍德以108岁30天之龄成为英国在世最年长男性。[10][6][14]
  • 2024年1月7日，生于1912年6月6日的安德烈·路德维希（André Ludwig）过世，约翰·廷尼斯伍德以111岁134天成为欧洲在世最年长男性。[14]
