建議條目內容一併改了。假資訊這個研究主題是最近幾年才流行起來(主因大概是美國政治),研究者的學科背景也很雜,所以研究方式各異,有些着重在分析內容,然後用認知心理學來解釋,有些着重在人際網絡結構,用複雜系統來分析,文化演化或迷因論的可能想用族群遺傳學或傳染病模型來分析,社會科學出身的可能又會從人們的教育或經濟背景下手。目前沒有共識說哪種研究方法最好,更不會有人敢指出單一因素說它就是錯誤資訊傳播的主因。可參見此回顧:Wang, Y., McKee, M., Torbica, A., & Stuckler, D.
