雪人航空691號班機為雪人航空從特里布萬國際機場飛往博卡拉國際機場的定期客運航班。2023年1月15日，執行該航班的ATR 72-500於博卡拉機場降落時墜毀。事故發生時，客機上共搭載72人，包括68名乘客和4名機組人員，事故造成機上72人全部死亡[2]，成為1992年巴基斯坦國際航空268號班機墜毀以來尼泊爾發生的最嚴重空難。該事故死亡人數超過了美鷹航空4184號班機和加勒比區域航空883號班機，成為涉及ATR72系列飛機的最嚴重空難。[3][4][5][6][7][8]

涉事飛機[編輯]

空難中墜毀的飛機為一架機齡15年的ATR 72-500，生產序列號為754，註冊編號為9N-ANC。該機首先於2007年交付翠鳥航空，註冊編號當時為VT-KAJ。2013年，該機轉手至皇雀航空，其後於2019年交付雪人航空。[9]

事故經過[編輯]

該航班於上午10:33從加德滿都布萬國際機場起飛。[10]事故發生前飛機正在博卡拉國際機場短五邊進場，在塞蒂甘達基河岸邊墜毀。 據地面人員拍攝的影片顯示，飛機在墜毀前突然向左傾斜。 [11]另一段影片來自飛機上的一名名叫Sonu Jaiswal的乘客在降落前斷開飛行模式在Facebook直播時的錄像。[12]該影片顯示，乘客在撞擊前幾秒鐘才意識到飛機將要墜毀。[13]

此次事故發生在甘達基省，位於舊博卡拉機場和新建的博卡拉國際機場之間，該機場在事故發生兩周前啟用，也是此次航班的目的地。[14][15]這起事故導致機上72人全數遇難，是尼泊爾自1992年巴基斯坦國際航空公司268航班墜毀以來最嚴重的航空事故，亦是尼泊爾最嚴重的航空事故，也是ATR72系列最致命事故。[16][17][18][19]

據博卡拉國際機場的一位發言人稱，空中交通管制部門批准該航班在30號跑道上降落，但在墜機前幾分鐘，機長要求使用12號跑道。尼泊爾民航局的一位發言人表示：「事發當天天氣晴朗；根據初步資訊，墜機的原因是飛機的技術問題。」[20]

Flightradar24稱，在飛行期間，該涉事飛機設備老舊導致其ADS-B數據一直在傳輸不準確的速度和高度數據。[21]

乘客和機組人員[編輯]

機上共有68名乘客和4名機組人員，包括五十三名尼泊爾人、五名印度人、四名俄羅斯人、一名愛爾蘭人、兩名韓國人、一名澳大利亞人、一名法國人和一名阿根廷人。乘客中有兩名嬰兒。[7][8]

這趟航班由高級機長卡邁勒·卡特里切特里（Kamal KC）和副駕駛安朱·卡蒂瓦達（Anju Khatiwada）。卡蒂瓦達的丈夫迪帕克-波克雷爾（Dipak Pokhrel）也曾是雪人航空的機師，但在2006年雪人航空DHC-6雙水瀨空難中死亡。卡蒂瓦達將在完成本次航班任務後獲得機長資格。[22]

事故現場

機場在當局開始救援行動後關閉[31]。事件發生後，尼泊爾政府就此召開內閣緊急會議。印度航空部長喬蒂拉迪亞·辛迪亞就此事表示哀悼，同時印度使館臨時開設求助熱線傳達資訊[32]。

雪人航空取消了次日的所有定期航班以表示對遇難乘客的哀悼[33][34]。次日，飛機的飛行數據記錄器被尋獲[35]。

1月16日，尼泊爾當局宣佈當天為全國哀悼日。[36]

事故調查[編輯]

一個由Nagendra Ghimire領導的五人調查委員將會代表尼泊爾政府調查這起事故，法國民航安全調查分析局也將協助調查。[37]

阿米特·辛格是一名經驗豐富的機師，也是印度安全事務基金會的創始人，他推測，在墜機前一刻和乘客Sonu Jaiswal在墜機過程中拍攝直播顯示，飛機的機頭明顯偏高，然後左翼突然下陷，隨後飛機跌出攝像頭範圍內，可能表明飛機已經失速。 [38]一位發言人稱，在飛機進場過程中，機師沒有報告「任何不正常的情況」。[39]

1月16日，飛行數據記錄器和座艙通話記錄器被找到，並無太大的損壞。[40]應尼泊爾調查機構的要求，這兩個記錄器將被送往新加坡解碼。[41][42]

1月17日，尼泊爾當局開始將遇難者遺體交還至家屬。[43]

2023年2月8日，尼泊爾事故調查委員會報告稱，經過對飛行數據記錄器和座艙通話記錄器的數據分析後，得出的是兩個引擎的螺旋槳在飛機進入博卡拉（PKR/VNPK）的五邊時發生順槳。[44]

2023年12月29日，尼泊爾政府委任的調查委員會發佈調查最終報告指，空難很可能是因飛行員的人爲失誤導致。事發時，機組人員在飛行中錯誤地將兩個控制桿移到了順槳位置，從而導致飛機引擎不產生推力；當飛機因此發出警報聲時，機組人員也未能及時糾正，因此導致飛機墜毀。報告也指，墜毀的原因也包括了缺乏適當的培訓，加上工作的壓力及不遵守操作程序等。報告也補充，客機的狀況良好，沒有已知的缺陷，而駕駛人員也有當地合格的飛行資格。[45][46][47][48][49]
