2013–2017年：早期[編輯]

2020年：《澤山》及王朝巡演[編輯]

2020年簽約Dirty Hit唱片後，璃奈發行了新金屬、重金屬、前衛流行歌曲《把嘴閉上（英語：STFU!）》和「致敬2000年代初期舞曲」的《Comme des Garçons (像個男孩)（英語：Comme des Garçons (Like the Boys)）》，兩首歌均收錄於即將發行的首張錄音室專輯[22]。第三首2000年代搖滾R&B風格歌曲《XS》於3月2日發行[23]。次月發行專輯的另一首單曲《天選家庭》（"Chosen Family"）[24]。首張錄音室專輯《澤山（英語：Sawayama）》於4月17日發行，獲得普遍好評[25][26]。同年7月28日，為了翻唱系列Spotify Singles，璃奈翻唱了女神卡卡的單曲《在黑暗中漫舞》 [27] 。2020年7月底，澤山發布推文表示自己未獲得水星音樂獎和全英音樂獎等英國主流音樂大獎的提名，原因是她沒有英國國籍[6][28][29][30]。不久後話題標籤#SawayamalsBritish（#澤山是英國人）登上Twitter英國趨勢榜[31]。

澤山一直以來是非主流經紀公司Anti Agency和Elite模特經紀公司（英語：Elite Model Management）的簽約模特兒。2017年，她獲邀參加范思哲Versus x Versace（英語：Versus (Versace)）秋冬季宣傳[34]，另外還參與了卓丹·鄧「Missguided」系列宣傳片的拍攝[35]，並為尼古拉·福米切蒂（英語：Nicola Formichetti）MAC x Nicopanda聯名系列創作了原聲歌曲[36]。

跨界合作[編輯]

2016年，璃奈與台灣視覺藝術家江宥儀進行合作，拍攝了一系列批判亞洲和日本人的審美標準的視覺作品。隨後她登上《時尚》雜誌。璃奈在採訪中表示，這次的合作之所以存在，是因為「對日本女性來說，從動漫到卡哇伊文化中的元素都是社會對她們的期待......這種局面實際上將女性置於不利的地位，被人物化和嬰兒化」[4]。 璃奈曾與尼古拉·福米切蒂在MAC x Nicopanda聯名系列中合作。福米切蒂還執導了璃奈歌曲《平民巨星》的音樂視頻，並在「i-D」網站講述了兩人合作的起因[37]。
