大卫·J·彼得森（英语：David Joshua Peterson，1981年1月20日—）是一名美国语言创造者、作家和艺术家。
生平[编辑]
从1999年至2003年就读于加州大学柏克莱分校，获得英语和语言学学士学位。[2] 亦获得加利福尼亚大学圣地牙哥分校（2003年-06年）语言学硕士学位。[2]
自2000年以来、彼得森所创建最出名的语言是为HBO《权力的游戏》（2009年）影集系列创建多斯拉其语和瓦雷利亚语言，及为Syfy频道《地球异世界》（2011年以来）剧集创建卡蒂森语（Castithan）、艾洛森语（Irathient）。[2][4] 他还为电影《雷神索尔2：黑暗世界》里的黑暗精灵创建语言。[5] 于2007年，他与与其他九个语言创建者协同创办了语言创建协会，[2]并担任其主席（2012年—2014年）。[6]
彼得森为《地球异世界》剧集创建两个较全和两个较小型的语言时，他亦为这些语言开发了一个数词系统。[7]
