It's not SATA-2, there is no such thing as SATA-2, the official name is still SATA, the full name for 3.0 Gbps interface is "SATA 3.0 Gbit/s", see en article --202.71.240.18 09:13 2007年3月15日 (UTC)

Actually, you can find 'Serial ATA II' strings in the official specification. There are also 'SATA Gen1', 'SATA Gen1i', 'SATA Gen1m', 'SATA Gen1x', 'SATA Gen2', 'SATA Gen2i', 'SATA Gen2m',and 'SATA Gen2x', according different application.
