长肺鱼（学名：Protopterus dolloi），又称长身肺鱼、芝麻肺鱼、细鳞非洲肺鱼，为非洲肺鱼属的四种现生物种之一，于1900年由比利时动物学家乔治·亚伯特·布兰洁发表描述，种小名dolloi为纪念比利时古生物学家路易斯·道罗（英语：Louis Dollo）对肺鱼分类的贡献^[3]。本种广泛分布于中部非洲，IUCN将其评估为无危物种^[1]。

生态[编辑]

长肺鱼形似鳗鱼，体型较同属其他物种长^[3]，为底栖鱼类（英语：Demersal fish），一般栖息于河床底部，但可在空气中呼吸，分布范围包括刚果河、奎卢-尼阿里河与奥果韦河盆地，在当地是一种食用鱼。其巢常出现于六月至十月，干季时，雄鱼负责保护沼泽中的巢与蛋，雌鱼则会出现在河流等流动的水域中。本种一般以其他鱼类或昆虫为食，但繁殖季时会取食较多植物^[1]。

长肺鱼虽有夏蛰（英语：Aestivation）的能力，但因其栖地不会完全干涸，一般不会进行夏蛰^[1]。相较于其他种肺鱼在泥巴中夏蛰，长肺鱼可自行分泌一层黏液，并夏蛰于其中。本种对生存水域氨的耐受性很高，虽具有所有尿素循环所需的酵素，但含氮废物的排放仍以氨为大宗，有研究在实验室中诱使长肺鱼进行夏蛰后，发现其身体中氨的含量下降，同时尿素循环酵素的活性会上升，促进尿素的合成，显示合成尿素的能力可能与长肺鱼的夏蛰行为有关^[4]^[5]，另外也有研究显示长肺鱼可能借由增加二氧化碳排放于水中的比例等机制以酸化周围水域，使氨的浓度降低，从而增进其对氨的耐受性^[5]。
