描述Screw demonstrator.png	English: Drawing of a simple machine to demonstrate the action of a screw, from a 1912 scientific instrument catalog. It consists of a threaded shaft, threaded through a stationary mount. As the crank on the left is turned, the shaft moves axially through the hole.
